Trip Report:
The four of us arrived at the PCT trailhead early enough to enjoy a leisurely potluck before retiring early. With a group of ten Mazamas scheduled to climb the same day, we elected to leave camp at 04:30 (ouch!) and enjoy the sunrise from high on the north ridge. A breezy and cool first pitch gave way to warm sunshine and almost calm winds on the commodious summit. We were first on top, arriving about 5 hours after our early start and about 1.5 hours before the Mazamas topped out. It was a popular peak that day, but everyone cooperated and the delays were minimal. Another excellent lead by Wayne (his 13th time on this summit and 4th time this year!)
